Australian lineage

It is important for all members of the world Moo Duk Kwan to be able to trace their Martial Art Lineage back to our Kwan Jang Nim and to our founder. This is the lineage for Australia’s Region 3.

  • Started training 5 May 1954 (age 7)
  • Chief instructor at Central Do Jang (1970-1973)

  • Started teaching in 1956
  • Instructed at Osan Air Base, Korea
  • Currently President of World Tang Soo Do Union

  • 1958 Stationed in Korea as member of US Airforce
  • Started training under Kim Song Ki at Osan Air Base
  • Sent to Seoul to train under Oh Sae Joon before receiving Dan
  • Second American to receive Dan Rank in Tang Soo Do
